About Me

I am 46 years old, unmarried and live in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago.  I grew up in a family of Assessors.  My father was an assessor and I began working for him at age 14, measuring houses part time.  After college, my  father gave me a full time job working for him as an assessor in WI.  I learned everything from inspecting homes & commercial property, mapping, valuation techniques for all property types to working with other public officials on budgeting and other issues.  I expanded the office from valuing 8 townships to 52 (1 county to 7 counties), without adding additional personnel.
I have the experience and knowledge to run this County office more efficiently and accurately providing better services at reduced costs.
In addition, I have worked in the Cook County Assessors Office for 2 years now and know how the office runs and what needs to be changed to make it a better run office and more efficient.
